India’s former spy chief Amarjit Singh Dulat, talking to an Indian television channel has said that Narendra Modi will have to talk over Kashmir sooner or later.

Amarjit Singh said that the Indian government’s agenda has been different from the Kashmir question and confessed that Indians have committed lot of mistakes in handling this core issue.

Singh also said that the dialogue between the two neighboring countries have no importance without Kashmir issue.

Former spy chief was of the opinion that former president of Pakistan Parvez Musharraf’s four points on Kashmir, is the only solution to the issue as more than 90% Kashmiris were happy over the Musharraf formula.

Musharraf Formula

Musharraf in his four points formula proposed:-

* There should be an agreement that Kashmir is the key problem between India and Pakistan.

* Identification of those plans that are unacceptable to the other side.

* Considering other proposals.

* A solution acceptable to Pakistan, India and the people of Kashmir should be agreed.
