Four robbers arrested after twin encounters in Karachi

KARACHI: Four criminals were arrested after police encounters in different areas of Karachi on Monday, ARY News reported.

According to details, two separate encounters in Karachi’s Jamshed Quarters and Kharadar area resulted in arrest of four robbers.

Three criminals were nabbed in injured condition after a shootout with police in Kharadar when the robbers were busy robbing people of their valuables.

Police sources claimed that the arrested criminals were involved in robbing traders, common men by boarding buses.

Firearms and a motorcycle were recovered from the arrested lot.

In a similar sort of incident in Jamshed Quarters area, police nabbed a robber in injured condition and recovered a firearm and motorcycle from him.

The criminal was identified as Afzal, a wanted criminal with more than six cases registered against him.

Search Operation

Police personnel on a tip off raided Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13-D and started an operation in search of criminals.

Several suspects were arrested from the area.

All entry and exit points of the area were sealed before the start of the operation.
