Four bodies found from Memon Goth identified as those of MQM workers
KARACHI: Four people, whose bodies were found yesterday from Memon Goth area, have been identified as MQM workers, ARY News reported Thursday.
Spokesman MQM Rabita Committee confirmed the bodies of four men as MQM workers. He said their party workers were shot multiple times before their bodies were dumped.
Soon after the information, MQM RC members reached the Edhi morgue, Sohrab Goth, to collect bodies of their workers. Rangers and police had arrested those workers from Scheme-33 some days ago. One of the victims was the resident of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, while three lived in Gulshan-e-Maymar. They are identified as Ali Haider, Salman, Muhammad Sumair and Faizan Sheikh.
The bodies were found from Memon Goth on Wednesday, which were shifted to Edhi morgue for identification. The MQM blamed law enforcement agencies for slaying their party workers.
Meanwhile, MQM has announced to hold emergency press conference at 5pm at its headquarters Nine Zero.
