Four ‘terrorists’ killed in shoot-out with Karachi police
According to SSP Rao Anwar, police party was conducting a search operation in an area near Al Asif Square at Sohrab Goth, when armed culprits opened fire on the cops and exchange of fire ensued.
He told that gangsters were around half a dozen in numbers and four of them were killed by the police. The SSP said heavy cache of weapons and explosives were recovered from the possession of criminals.
He claimed that the slain terrorists belonged to a banned terror outfit. He informed that police were going after the remaining two criminals who managed to flee the scene.
He told that police had a tip-off regarding presence of three suicide bombers in the area.
