Four death row convicts executed across Pakistan

A death row convict Ikramul Haq was hanged to death in District Jail Attock. Ikram was given death penalty for kidnapping a three year old girl for ransom in 2002.

Another convict, Ameen was hanged in Rawalpindi city’s Adiala Jail. Ameen was convicted of killing a citizen in 1998.

Hubdar Shah was hanged to death in Mianwali Central Jail. Hubdar Shah was given death penalty for killing two men over a minor dispute back in the year 2000.

A death row convict was given the noose in Sargodha Jail. The convict, namely Muhammad Riaz was awarded death penalty for killing two people during a robbery in the year 2000.

It must be noted that Pakistan government  lifted the moratorium on executions in the country after deadly attack on the Army Public School on December 16, 2014 in which around 141 people, most of them children, were killed.
