Four hurt in motorbike riders firing in Multan

MULTAN: Motorbike riding gunmen opened indiscriminate fire when a traffic warden signalled them to stop, injuring four persons, ARY News reported on Saturday.

Traffic wardens signalled two motorbike riders to stop at Katchehry Chowk of Multan. Unknown riders opened indiscriminate fire injuring four persons including two traffic police cops and two passersby.

The injured were identified as Hamid, Naseemul Haq, Nasir and Shakeel.

Rescue workers transferred the injured to Nishtar Hospital of the city.

Police have been declared on alert for arrest of the gunmen.
