The incident took place in Block 17 of F.B. Area, under the jurisdiction of Samnabad police station when armed assailants riding on motorbikes opened fire and fled away.
As a consequence, four persons were wounded who were immediately taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where two of the injured were said to be in precarious condition.
The injured persons were identified as Abdul Hameed, Muhammad Yameen, Jan Muhammad and Mushtaq.
Police said the incident seems to be sectarian motivated and that they are probing it.
