Four Kashmiri youth killed by Indian forces in IOK

SRINAGAR: Four Kashmiri youth and a civilian were killed on Sunday by Indian forces in their stepped up state terrorism in Indian-Occupied Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident took place in Kulgam district after Indian forces cordoned off the Nowpora area of Frisal in the district.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar while talking to media confirmed that four youth were killed in an operation launched jointly by Indian Army and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Two of the four martyred youth have been identified as Zubair Ahmad Butt of Nowpora, Frisal, and Ashfaq Ahmad of Shopian.

The police officer said the bodies of the youth were recovered from the debris of a house blasted by the Indian forces where the youth were staying.

The Indian Army said hat the operation in Kulgam is still on. Indian media reported that two troops were also killed in the clashes.
