PESHAWAR: Twin blasts inside cinema house located near Qissa Khawani Market in Peshawar killed four and left 35 injured on Sunday night, ARY News reported.
According to police, two hand grenades were thrown at the front and back rows of the cinema hall. The grenades used in the attack were of Chinese make.
There were hundreds of people present inside the cinema house at the time of blast.
Rescue teams and law enforcement agencies cordoned off the crime scene soon after the explosions while the injured persons were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.
Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has strongly condemned the incident and directed the authorities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) to submit a report on the blasts.
