According to details, police conducted a raid in Karachi’s Lyari area and arrested four members of Baba Ladla gang and Sunny group.
SSP City Police Station Faizullah Korejo informed the media that four pistols, 670 sub-machine gun bullets and a hand grenade were seized from the arrested men.
Korejo added that two of the arrested gangsters namely Zubair Baloch and Owais alias Dada have been commanders of Baba Ladla group and they used to take extortion money, collected from Karachi, to Iran.
He further said that other two arrested suspects, Aqib and Faizan, were members of Sunny gang and they used to send extortion money to Muscat.
Moreover, leader of an inter-provincial robbery gang Ahmed Ali Khan escaped from police custody. He was arrested from Kemari area of Karachi on 31st August while looting people.
