Four Taliban militants killed in Karachi police encounter

Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of police on a tip off from intelligence agencies raided a terrorist hideout in Ittehad Town area of the city and killed four militants belonging to the Omar Khorasani group.

The terrorists were severely injured in shootout with police as they opened fire on law enforcement personnel upon their arrival.

Incharge CTD claimed that police has collected evidence related to the Wagah border blast and the attack on former Senior Superintendant Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar.

On the other hand, Rangers busted six criminals during a targeted operation in Khokrapar area of Karachi.

Rangers and police have intensified operation in Pakistan’s economic hub and Sindh province’s capital city arresting several target killers, extortionists, kidnappers along with other criminals.
