Four nabbed in alleged police encounters in Karachi

Two criminals were nabbed in injured condition after a brief shootout with policemen in Surjani Town area of Karachi. Police personnel recovered hand grenades and firearms from them.

In another encounter, police claims to have arrested two suspected dacoits in Soldier Bazar recovering firearms, looted cash and a motorcycle from their possession.

A target killer Arshad alias Pappu was nabbed from Old Golimar locality. The murderer belongs to a political party.

Rangers and police have intensified crackdown against criminals in Pakistan’s economic hub and Sindh province’s capital city arresting several target killers, extortionists, kidnappers and other criminals.

Dead Body Riddle Solved

Police found a blood soaked dead body in a car in Defence Housing Society Phase eight which was later identified as Masood Hamid, marketing director of a media group.

Masood Hamid was an employee of Pakistan Herald Publications Limited.

The cause of Hamid’s death cannot be ascertained but an investigation has been launched into the incident which seems a target killing incident.
