Four people killed in Karachi; two crackers hurled near Gurumandir
KARACHI: A cracker was hurled during a shooting near Islamia College, Gurumandir, while four other people were killed in different incidents on Friday, ARY News reported.
Police said a shooting of drama was going on when two unidentified gunmen hurled two crackers at home, shattering a glass of stationary vehicle outside the home. However, no loss of life reported. Police added that one person was injured in the incident.
A man lost his life in a firing near Dhobi Gath area of Lyari.
Separately, a body of a woman was found from Afghan Basti, near Super Highway. The body bore torture marks. Police said the deceased lady, identified as Zeenat, was strangled to death by her husband over domestic dispute.
A man was killed when unidentified men opened fire on him in Nayalane area. The body was shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Similarly, another man was shot dead by unknown culprits near Kati Pahari.
