MIRANSHAH: Four security officers were killed and seven were wounded in a suicide attack at a security check post in North Waziristan tribal region, ARY News reports on Friday.
Suicide attackers rammed an explosives laden truck at a security check post located in Shawa area at Mir Ali Tehsil in which four officials lost their lives and seven were injured whereas the check post was completely destroyed.
The injured personnel were shifted to Combined Military Hospital Bannu via helicopter.
Mir Ali Tal Road was closed for all kinds of traffic after the attack. Security forces surrounded the area and launched a search operation.
Ansar-ul-Mujahideen militant group has claimed the responsibility of the attack.
