Four shot dead in Mardan firing

MARDAN: Four people were shot dead in Mardan city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Saturday, ARY News reported.

According to details, unknown persons opened fire at a vehicle at Chamrang Road due to which four people were killed on the spot.

The attackers managed to flee from the crime scene. Police teams have been formed for the identification of the gunmen.

The victims were identified as Babar, Sher Rehman, Gul Bahar and Mezbaan. They were being taken to court when they were targeted by the gunmen.

The deceased sustain bullet wounds to their heads and abdomen.

Police shifted the dead bodies to a morgue whereas the family members of the victims are being questioned.

It should be noted that three people were killed in a similar incident at Peshawar in September.
