Four terror suspects killed in Gwadar operation

GWADAR: Four members of an outlawed group were killed in a joint operation of the army and other agencies in Gwadar, ARY News reported on Thursday.

“Four terrorists of a banned militant group were killed in a security operation in Belar area of Gwadar, jointly conducted by the Army, Frontier Constabulary and officials of the intelligence agencies,” security sources said.

The slain miscreants were involved in attack on Levies check post and the killing of Coast Guards in Jeewni, security officials said.

Armed men had killed two personnel of Pakistan Coast Guards in Balochistan’s Gwadar district in October. The attackers sped away on their motorcycle after the attack.

Police and personnel of other law enforcement agencies had started an investigation in to the incident.

Militants of various hues conduct attacks against security forces and national installations in Balochistan, which has been plagued by incidents of sectarian killings and terrorist attacks for more than a decade.
