SWABI: Four terrorism suspects were gunned down by Law Enforcing Agencies (LEAs) in an encounter at Khanpur area of Swabi here on Saturday, ARY News reports.
According to police sources, they received information about the presence of four terrorists in the area. Heavy contingents of police surrounded the area and launched a search operation during which the terrorists opened fire at the police. In retaliatory fire of the police four terrorists were killed, police sources said.
District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Khan said that explosives and large quantity of munition recovered from the killed terrorists.
