Four terrorists killed as gunships pound N.Waziristan

MIRANSHAH: Gunship helicopters of Pakistan Army pounded several miltant hideouts in Mir Ali Bazaar and Maachis Camp areas of North Waziristan due to which four terrorists were killed and three were wounded, ARY News reports on Friday.

According to details, the aviation of Pakistan Army shelled hideouts of extremists in the tribal areas due to which four extremists were killed and three other were injured.

Security forces surrounded the area and search operation is underway. Aerial surveillance of the ground forces is being carried out via helicopters.

The curfew, enforced in the area due to the operation, has also moved on to its third day.

Earlier, at least 60 terrorists and 30 others were injured in airstrikes by Pakistan Air Forces in Maachis Camp area of Miranshah. Some key Taliban commanders were said to be killed by the PAF bombing.
