ISLAMABAD: The fourth phase of the licenses of 3-G spectrum technology was concluded as overall bids of over 900 million dollars received in the bidding, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Ismail Shah, speaking during the auction of 3-G and 4-G spectrum technologies, has said that overall 902.8 million US dollars bids have been received as fourth phase of the auction has been concluded.

Shah said that the introduction of advanced technologies will be a key step for progress, which will bring a revolution in education, health and other sectors in the country.

He said the names of the successful bidders will be announced at the PTA website after completion of the auction.
