Security beefed up at Parliament House; attack feared anytime

TOP NEWS

According to details, fresh troops of the Punjab Police and the paramilitary FC have taken their positions, ensuring security of the Parliament House. A few moments ago, Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had also visited Islamabad’s red zone and observed security arrangements there.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has alleged that the Interior Ministry wants to wage an attack on peaceful marchers, taking the shelter of Supreme Court’s verdict of vacating the Constitution Avenue.

Meanwhile, the workers and supporters of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) have started constructing a protective wall around the container in which the PAT chief, Dr Tahirul Qadri is staying along with his followers in the red zone.

The wall is being constructed speedily with the help of iron pipes, fearing a crackdown by the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) upon government’s consent.
