Funeral prayers in absentia offered for Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob

KARACHI: Funeral prayers in absentia were offered for ARY Chairman Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob in different cities of Pakistan, ARY News reports on Friday.

Funeral prayers were offered at Peshawar Press Club in Peshawar. The prayers were led by Qari Muhammad Shafiq. Several political figures attended the funeral prayers of Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob.

Another prayers were held in Al Markaz-e-Islami at Faisalabad. Large number of people had gathered for the prayers to pay their respects to the ARY Chief.

Large number of people offered the funeral prayers of Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob at Hafizabad. The funeral prayers were organized by ARY News team and Jamaat-ud-Dawa.

Funeral prayers were also offered in TMA Lawn at Gojra. People from different spheres of life attended the prayers.

Journalists and residents of Toba Tek Singh attended the funeral prayers that were held in Jama Masjid Rizwan in the city. The prayers were led by Maulana Barq Tawhidi.

Special prayers were also held for Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob.

Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob had passed away on Friday 21st February 2014 after a prolonged ailment. Important religious and political personalities have been sending condolence messages to the family of Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob.
