LAHORE: The funeral prayers of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) leader Maulana Shamsur Rehman Muavia will be offered in Lahore this afternoon, ARY News reported on Saturday.
ASWJ has announced countrywide protest for three days over the killing of their provincial president.
After killing of Shamsur Rehman Muavia, several protesters came to roads and demanded arrest of the killers.
A large number of sticks wielding workers of ASWJ staged protest at Faizabad Interchange in Rawalpindi against targeted killing of the group’s Punjab President. The protesters blocked roads and demanded immediate arrest of the killers of Maulana Shamsur Rehman Muawiya.
