Funeral prayers of Talal Bugti offered in Quetta

Talal Bugti following a heart attack breathed his last on Monday [yesterday]. His funeral prayers were held here at Bugti House on Tuesday evening.

The dead body of the late JWP chief was sent to Dera Bugti through a chopper provided by the Commander Southern Command, Lieutenant General Nasir Khan Janjua.

Talal Bugti will be laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Dera Bugti, Baluchistan.

Bugti was the fourth son of former chief minister of Balochistan and Baloch nationalist leader late Nawab Akbar Bugti who was killed in a military operation in Balochistan during Musharraf’s regime.

Family sources told that Talal Bugti was admitted at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) here after he felt unwell.

He was born in Dera Bugti on 17 March, 1952. He received his education from Dera Bugti, Quetta, and then went to the Aitchison College, Lahore, after which he graduated from the University of Punjab.
