Gen. Raheel Sahrif to visit Kabul
ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif will travel Kabul on Monday for one day visit to participate in trilateral talks between Afghanistan, Pakistan and the International Security Assistance Force (IAF), ARY News reported.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Raheel Sharif will hold important meetings with top Afghan and ISAF commanders to discuss cooperation in the anti-terror fight and overall security situation.
The 37th tripartite talk between Afghanistan, Pakistan and IAF comes as tensions blazed up between Islamabad and Kabul due to cross-border fire exchange last week.
Afghanistan government on Thursday accused Pakistan for violating a trilateral agreement by attempting to set up military installations along the Durand Line which resulted into clashes between Afghan and Pakistani forces.
