ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and Chairman Joint Cheifs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Rashad Mehmood met the Saudi Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz here in Islamabad on Monday as the Prince is on a tour of Pakistan, ARY News reports.
They agreed to expand the cooperation on defence and military affairs.
During the meeting, the Saudi Crown Prince also discussed that the matters of mutual interest with Pakistani military leaders. He also appreciated the role of Pakistan Army in promoting world peace.
Saudi Crown Prince had arrived here on Saturday for a three day visit to discuss bilateral affairs and the overall regional situation.
On 5th February, the Saudi Crown Prince had bestowed the prestigious Al-Saud medal to General Raheel Sharif when the COAS Pakistan was on a tour to Saudi Arabia.
