General Raheel reaches United States on key visit
Pakistani diplomats and Pentagon officials received General Sharif at airport.
Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Asim Bajwa said that Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif during his visit will meet the civil and military officials of the Obama administration during the five day visit in which regional security and bilateral relations will be discussed.
Pakistan’s Army Chief will also highlight the violation of the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Bounday by Indian forces. He will inform the US officials about the military’s gains in Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Raheel Sharif will also visit Brazil for two days. He will also spend a day with Pakistani peacekeeping troops at the UN Mission in Ivory Coast.
