ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Rashad Mehmood has chaired the meeting of the committee here on Wednesday and discussed the security situation of the state – ARY News reports.
According to details, Chiefs of all the three armed forces of Pakistan were present at the meeting, the committee mulled over the security situation of the state and discussed the challenges faced by it under the current circumstances.
The committee expressed its determination that the armed forces of Pakistan will continue to strive against extremism here, whereas it also expressed complete concord with the policies of the political leadership.
