Ghazi case: Court reserves verdict on shifting case to high court
ISLAMABAD: Sessions Court has reserved its verdict over a plea seeking shifting of the murder case of Lal Masjid cleric Abdul Rasheed Ghazi to high court here in Islamabad, ARY News reports on Tuesday.
The petition of shifting the case was heard by a Sessions Court Judge Nur-ul-Haq Qureshi.
Lawyer representing Lal Masjid told the court that the case should be transferred to a high court as it is a high profile one.
He further argued that the murder case against former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was of high status as well.
The court reserved its judgment on the petition and will announce it later.
