Gillani says notices not a new thing for him
MULTAN: Former prime minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has said that issuance of notices is not a new thing for him, “me and 2 of my sons have cases against us, while my youngest son has been abducted, but we are not going to be afraid of” – ARY News reports.
Talking to media at his residence here on Friday, the ex-PM said that he is not afraid of hardships, jails and notices, adding that he is a worker of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the handcuffs are like an ornament for him.
He said that he has already served 10 years of imprisonment under the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws. He inquired that why the bureau is calling him, when the NAB director himself is wanted.
Gillani further stated that if he can stand for the immunity of the former president Asif Ali Zardari, then he can also take a stand for his own exemption.
Meanwhile, the counsel of the former PM has also submitted his reply in the NAB regarding NICL Corruption Case.
Gillani submitted his statement to the investigation team of the NICL Case through his attorney.
