Gillani urges for permanent decision on talks or ceasefire
PESHAWAR: Former Prime Minister, Yousuf Raza Gillani has said that talks or ceasefire, whatever is decided should be decided permanently, people cannot afford everyday terrorism incidents – ARY News reports.
Talking to media after condoling the family of martyred Major Jahanzeb, Yousuf Raza Gillani said that the entire nation will be looks to the martyrdom of Major Jahanzeb with great pride. He added that the sacrifices of our troops in the war against terror will not go in vain.
Gillani urged the Government to ponder upon incidents like Islamabad, in which at least 13 people were killed including a judge, whilst 30 others were injured as a result of an attack by terrorists.
He also demanded the Government to take all the parties into confidence regarding peace talks with Taliban for the people are not satisfied with its performance so far.
The ex-PM however refrained from responding to a question about MNA Jamshed Dasti, saying 'no comments'.
