Government will overcome energy crisis till 2016, vows Khurram Dastagir
HYDERABAD: Federal Minister for Commerce, Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan said decision regarding declaring India as ‘Most Favourite Nation’ will taken by keeping in view Pakistan’s trade benefit, ARY News reported.
Speaking at a meeting with officer-bearers of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) on Thursday, Khurram Dastagir Khan said government would be able to control the issue electricity crisis, if not fully then at least to a greater extent by the end of 2016.
"The government has started many projects including coal and alternative energy sources whereas now about 70 per cent electricity is being produced from oil", he added.
The Minister said Prime Minister’s visit to India is a proactive diplomacy adding that trade with India has been on to about 50 per cent expect few commodities.
