According to Sarwar, the Governor House Punjab will remain open from 10am to 6pm on sundays and the grounds except the residential areas will be accessible to the public.

“We want people to recognize these government buildings as a national asset and be able to come and visit with their families at ease” said Sarwar.

The governor said that most children are absent in school because they don’t have access to clean drinking water.

“We have planted water filters in school and fortunately we are seeing a gradual progress in student’s health. This is a  small initiative towards a greater problem  but we are taking all measures that might help diminish this issue” said Sarwar.
