KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan presided over a special meeting attended by chief minister Sindh, Core commander Karachi and chief secretary Sindh to discuss security and development in the province, ARY News reported.
The meeting, held at Governor House, discussed the security situation in the province and the capital in the wake of current military operation in North Waziristan Agency.
Governor Sindh, while speaking at the occasion stressed upon the need of an effective strategy from law enforcement agencies in dealing with the terror threats to the city and province at large.
During the meeting, governor was also briefed upon Karachi-Hyderabad motorway and development work on Lyari and Malir Expressway .
