ISLAMABAD: In pursuance of the National Action Plan (NAP), the interior ministry here on Saturday placed 11 more entities on the list of proscribed outfits over their alleged affiliation with Jamatud Dawah, Falah-e-Insaniyat and Jaish-e-Muhammad, ARY News reported.
The new additions to the list of banned outfits include Al Anfal Trust, Lahore; Idara e Khidmat Khalaq, Lahore; Al Dawat ul Irshad, Lahore; Al Hamd Trust, Lahore/Faisalabad; Al Fazal Foundation/Trust Lahore; Mosque and Welfare Trust, Lahore; Al Madinah Foundation, Lahore; Muaz bin Jabal Education Trust, Lahore; Al Eesar Foundation, Lahore; Al Rehmat Trust Organization, Bahawalpur; and Al Furqan Trust, Karachi.
Sources said that the government decided to accelerate implementation on NAP in the wake of current wave of terrorism in the country.

Earlier, President Arif Alvi on April 16 had reaffirmed the government’s commitment to implementing National Action Plan (NAP) in letter and spirit.
Talking to media persons in Quetta after condoling with the victim families of the Hazarganji blast, he had lauded the Balochistan government’s announcing a compensation package for the victims of the attack.
The president had said more work needs to be done towards enforcement of the NAP, adding the federal government stood with the provincial government for resorting peace in the province.
