ISLAMABAD: A meeting of government talks committee has been called in Islamabad to discuss the demands of Taliban and take decision, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
Professor Ibrahim, a member of Taliban talks team has said that the government didn't respond to the demand for release of the arrested persons so far.
Talking to ARY News, Prof. Ibrahim said that Taliban had demanded release of over 600 detainees but the government has not responded to the demand.
He said that Taliban will present another proposal if their suggestion with regard to the free peace zone for talks not entertained by the government.
He said the sides have yet to fix the time and venue of the peace talks.
He hoped that the next phase of the dialogue will start soon.
