Govt didn't respond positively to PTI's flexible attitude: Siraj
Talking to media after a reception at Mansoora on Monday, Siraul Haq said that the people have grown disappointed with democracy and they have wielded batons and arms. He said that few elements are continuously poisoning the air under current circumstances.
“These elements do not want calm in the country and are awaiting dead bodies”, he added.
“If the politicians did not learn a lesson from past, then they will have to face the consequences they have witnessed in the past”, warned the JI emir.
He told that Jamaat e Islami is not in favor of a martial law in the country.
Siraj said that enough of time is wasted, yet the government and the PTI still have some moments for pacification.
He admitted that the sanctity of vote was violated in the last elections and the state machinery could not effectively guard the ballot boxes.
Moreover, Sirajul Haq said that his party will announce the road-map of a ‘prosperous’ Pakistan at Mazar-e-Quaid on December 25.
