Govt has set records of development, says President Mamnoon

LAHORE: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led federal government has created records of development in the country, ARY News reported.

The President expressed the views during his meeting with Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.

He also said that Shahbaz Sharif is working selflessly for the nation and the steps taken for development is worth-taking for other provinces.

He said that billions of rupees are being spent by the government for the projects initiated to provide basic facilities to the nation.

The president was of the view that the government has promoted merit in every sector of the country and transparency is being ensured in the welfare projects.

Earlier,  Punjab chief minister received President Mamnoon Hussain as he landed at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.

The chief minister briefed the president about the welfare projects initiated by the provincial government.
