Govt. have no intention to arrest Qadri: Pervaiz Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed denied reports regarding the government’s consideration about the arrest of Chairman Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, ARY News reported.

Refuting the news about the arrest of political workers on the occasion of Tahir-ul-Qadri’s arrival, the Minister said no restriction has been imposed over the movement of PAT’s political workers.

He said neither the plane of Tahir-ul-Qadri will be diverted nor he will be arrested.

According to government T.V., Pervaiz Rasheed said that administration has blocked some roads keeping in view security risks and the intention behind blockage is prevent entry of vehicles full of explosives.
