Load-shedding increased despite circular debts were ended: Khursheed Shah

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition, Syed Khursheed Shah has said that the Government increased load-shedding, despite the fact that circular debts were ended, while he also expressed his wishes for the power outages to be reduced to 7 hours a day after PM orders – ARY News reports.

Khursheed Shah said that all the politicians should unite together for strengthening democracy and democratic system of the state. He added that a situation of strain between the institutions, should not be there, for it is not in favor of the state.

Commenting on PM orders of reducing power-outages in the country, Shah expressed his wishes for the load-shedding to be reduced to 7 hours a day.

Speaking about the arrested US national, the Opposition Leader urged the Government to act in accordance with the law, pertaining to the arrested US citizen. He said that the United States does not allow our senior ministers to pass through its territories, so we are also supposed to abide by our laws.
