Govt. is considering to detain Qadri at his residence: Sources

ISLAMABAD: Federal government of Pakistan has designed a brief plan to tackle the situation on the return of Chairman Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri, ARY News reported.

According to well-informed sources, Chairman PAT would be brought to Lahore from Islamabad via Helicopter. The government is considering to detain  Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri at his residence and would not be allowed to have meeting with any political leader.

Sources told that Chief Minster Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has started monitoring the security. Furthermore, Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been imposed in Islamabad and public gatherings have been banned until 12pm June 24.

Pillion riding has also been banned in the city and mobile services may be suspended in Islamabad tomorrow.

Tahir-ul-Qadri will reach Benazir Bhutto International Airport tomorrow at 8 A.M.

Upon his arrival to Benazir International Airport, the security would be at red alert. Army troops will be deployed and Airport roads will remain closed.
