Govt, military jointly working to curb terrorism: Khattak

NOWSHEHRA: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak has said that the provincial government and security forces are working together in order to eliminate terrorism from the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, Khattak made the statement while addressing a gathering in Nowshehra.

The chief minister stated that the National Action Plan (NAP) being implemented in the province to tackle the menace of terrorism.

He further said that his government is working on hydel power projects in order to tackle the energy crisis in the province.

He also said that an expressway is being constructed between Dera Ismail Khan and Peshawar for providing better communication facilities to the masses.
