Gov't prepares for retrieving $200 billion from Swiss banks
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior has presented the details of sectarian killings in the National Assembly (NA) of Pakistan, while the Government has prepared itself for retrieving 200 billion dollars lying in Swiss banks and for this the Swiss authorities will be contacted on August 28 – ARY News reports.
Rich people of a poor country – the state is needs money to run its businesses, whereas 200 billion dollars of its citizens are lying in Swiss banks.
The Secretary of Finance revealed this on the floor of the House on Friday. He told that the Swiss authorities will be contacted in this regard, on August 28.
The National Assembly was told that during the last years, 950 people fell prey to sectarianism in the state. The highest toll was recorded in Balochistan with 528 causalities, 260 such killings were recorded in Sindh, 82 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), 86 in Punjab, 62 victims from Gilgit-Baltistan and 45 in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
