ISLAMABAD: The government on Friday revised the prices of petroleum products for the month of July.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the price of petrol and High Speed diesel (HSD) has been reduced by 1.50 rupees per liter each.
The new price of petrol will be 71.30 rupees and High Speed Diesel 79.90 rupees effective from this mid night. He said the prices of the Light diesel oil and kerosene will remain intact at 44 rupees each.
Dar said that the revision has been made with the approval of the prime minister and the government will bear a loss of 2.4 billion rupees due to subsidy.
