Govt releases funds for D.I. Khan motorway section

ISLAMABAD: The government on Thursday released Rs15.4 billion for Burhan-Hakla section of M-I Dera Ismail Khan motorway.

The project has been allocated Rs22 billion under the public sector development programme this year.

The data released by the Ministry of Planning and Development show that the total cost of the project is Rs124 billion, and is being completed under China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Similarly, the government has also released Rs700 million out of total allocation of Rs16,500 million for the construction of the 118-kilometre Thahkot to Havelian road in district Abbottabad.

Additionally, Rs 320 million rupees have been released for the 110-kilometre Basima-Khuzdar section of N30 in Balochistan.
