Govt seeks police help from KP to control Azadi, Revolution marches

ISLAMABAD: Federal government has asked Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police to send its policemen to Islamabad to control the Azadi March and Revolution March called by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PAT) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on 14th August, ARY News reports.

Sources said that KP Police has not made the decision whether it will deploy its units to the capital to control the activists of PAT and PTI or not. The decision is expected within the next 12 hours.

It should be noted that PTI has vowed that they will not leave Islamabad since Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announces his resignation and mid-term elections announced whereas PAT is vying to overthrow the system.
