Gov't, Taliban agreed upon resolving issues through talks, says Sami
ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the Government and Taliban committees, chaired by Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has conclude, whilst Molana Sami ul Haq has said that both the sides are agreed upon resolving issues through talks – ARY News reports.
According to details, the meeting of both the committees was held at the Punjab House, Islamabad, at which the advancements in the negotiations process, were reviewed.
Talking to media after the meeting, Molana Sami ul Haq told that a sub-committee is being formed to investigate complaints from both the sides. He told that both Government and Taliban are agreed upon resolving issues through dialogue.
Sami said that Taliban committee will immediately contact Taliban shura'a and it will try to arrange a meeting between the representatives of both the sides this week.
