Govt, Taliban finalise venue for talks

PESHAWAR: A venue has been decided between the government and the Taliban for peace talks, however it is yet to be disclosed, ARY News reported Monday.

The negotiations between both the committees are intensified. The Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has called a meeting with DG ISI and other security officials to discuss the situation.

Member Taliban committee, Maulana Yousuf Shah, said next 72 hours were vital in connection to the ongoing development of peace talks.

He said a meeting between government and the Taliban will be held in presence of all relevant people including Maulana Samiul Haq.

He said both the committees could interact at any moment in next 72 hours.
