ISLAMABAD: The dialogue with Taliban militants have suffered a setback as the government has decided to reconstitute its committee holding talks with Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP), sources said.

According to ARY News, the representatives of key state institutions will be included in the reconstituted committee, sources said. 
 
The committee that comprised of Irfan Siddiqui, Major (retd) Mohammad Aamir, former ambassador Rustam Shah Mohmand and senior journalist Rahimullah Yousafzai is likely to be reconstituted with representation to certain state institutions, sources said.

Major (retd) Aamir, a member of the committee has said that the decision has been taken to dissolve the government's talks committee adding that the officials of the state institutions will be included in the committee. "After the ceasefire our assignment has been completed," he added. 

According to sources, the members of the committee in a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif yesterday gave their proposals to make the peace process more effective.
