Govt to form committees for talks with PTI and PAT

ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to form two committees to hold talks with Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) led by Dr. Tahirul Qadri, ARY News reported

A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reached to the decision after reviewing the political situation in the wake of the PAT and PTI protests in Islamabad.

According to sources, the government political strategists also considering to offer the resignation of Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif to defuse political tensions.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan yesterday announced a two days’ ultimatum for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to step down from the top slot of the government.

PTI leader had also announced the movement of civil disobedience against the government.
