Addressing a ceremony of the electronic media reporters association, Rana Sanaullah said that the people chose Malik Aamir Dogar in the by-elections in NA-149 Multan and they rejected PTI’s ‘musical politics’.

He added this is why that the PTI secured 40,000 votes less than what it achieved in the general elections.

The PMLN leader said holding mass rallies and securing votes in elections are two different things.

He praised Makhdoom Javed Hashmi saying that Hashmi worked for the betterment of democracy by winning the elections and admitted his defeat in by-polls in order to maintain the continuity of democracy.

Rana said that joining the PMLN or to pursue individual politics, it will be Hashmi’s personal decision.

He clarified that the Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar had no role in the ‘London plan’, adding that the ‘container politicians’ used to talk of three days as per their plan, now they are talking of a year and after some time they will be discussing the General Elections 2018.
